Location

The Tulalip Beach lies on the western coastline of the Snohomish County in the state of Washington, USA. The water of Puget Sound washes ashore on the beach here as it lies north of the Tulalip Bay and south of the Tulare Beach and the Sunny Shores.

Tourist attractions

The beach is not on the popular tourist circuit map and hence one will not find many tourists here. But one is sure to find a place which is quiet and peaceful. This beach provides one with an opportunity to relax away from the maddening crowd of the city and spend some time alone. Lying on the sandy shore here one can rejuvenate one’s tired nerves. During summer one may come across an occasional sunbather at the beach. But since the beach is not much frequented one will not find public facilities.

One can enjoy swimming in the water of the Puget Sound. One may also be interested in going around in a boat while touring the beach here. Another interesting water sport here is rowing that one can enjoy here if one is strong enough to paddle against the slow undulating waves.

After a short trip to the beach one will have to return to the city. But there are some interesting places around the beach which one may be interested in seeing. These are the Pilchuck Creek, Tulalip Bay, and the Mission Beach.  On the north lies the Tulare Beach. The other beaches here are the Tyee Beach on Camano Island lying diagonally south and the McKees Beach. On the south lies the Hat Island. The Mission Beach lies just south of the Tulalip Bay.

There are also some golf courses one may opt to visit. These are the Battle Creek Public Golf Course, located at Marysville, 6 miles away, and the Kayak Point Golf Course.

Best period to visit

The driest month of July is the best time to visit the beach.
